You can cancel your Interview Code Assist subscription at any time. This policy outlines the cancellation process and what happens after you cancel.

How to Cancel

Self-Service Cancellation

  1. Log into your account dashboard
  2. Navigate to "Subscription Settings"
  3. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  4. Confirm your cancellation
  5. You'll receive an email confirmation

Alternatively, you can email us at assistant@interviewcodeassist.comwith "Cancel Subscription" in the subject line and include your account email address.

When Cancellation Takes Effect

Immediate vs. End of Billing Period

  • Standard Cancellation: Access continues until the end of your current billing period
  • Immediate Cancellation: Available only when requesting a refund within the refund period
  • No Partial Refunds: Unless within the refund period outlined in our Refund Policy

Monthly Subscriptions

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing cycle
  • No further charges will occur after the current period ends
  • You retain full access until the period expires

Annual Subscriptions

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the 12-month billing cycle
  • No automatic renewal will occur
  • Full access maintained for the remainder of the paid period

What Happens After Cancellation

Account Access

  • Your account will be downgraded to the free tier
  • Premium features will be disabled
  • You can continue using basic features with limitations
  • Your account data will be preserved for 90 days

Data Retention

  • Account information retained for 90 days after cancellation
  • Usage data and settings preserved during this period
  • Easy reactivation available within 90 days
  • Complete data deletion after 90 days unless reactivated

Reactivation

Within 90 Days

  • Simply subscribe again through your dashboard
  • All previous settings and preferences will be restored
  • No loss of account history or configurations

After 90 Days

  • Account data will have been permanently deleted
  • You'll need to create a new account
  • Fresh setup required for all preferences and settings

Automatic Renewal Prevention

Canceling your subscription prevents any future automatic renewals. You will not be charged again unless you manually resubscribe. We do not offer "pause" options - subscriptions must be cancelled and restarted.

Refunds with Cancellation

If you're eligible for a refund according to our Refund Policy, cancelling your subscription will automatically trigger the refund process. Please see ourRefund Policy for detailed information about refund eligibility.

Enterprise and Custom Plans

Enterprise customers with custom contracts should refer to their specific agreement terms for cancellation procedures. Contact your account manager or our support team for assistance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a prorated refund if I cancel mid-cycle?

Prorated refunds are only available during the refund period outlined in our Refund Policy. Outside of this period, you'll retain access until your current billing period ends.

What happens to my download quota?

Any unused downloads or premium features will remain available until your subscription period ends.

Can I export my data before cancelling?

Yes, you can export your usage statistics and preferences through the account dashboard before cancelling.
