How It Works

Operating System Level Integration

Interview Code Assist runs as a native desktop application that interfaces directly with your operating system's display layer, completely separate from your web browser or interview platform.

Undetectable Technology

Since our application doesn't inject code into browsers or modify web pages, it cannot be detected by JavaScript-based monitoring systems that interview platforms use. It operates outside the browser environment entirely.

Focus Preservation

The application maintains keyboard and mouse focus on your browser window while providing assistance, ensuring that interview platforms cannot detect focus changes or unusual interaction patterns.

System Requirements

  • Latest version of Chrome, Firefox, or Edge browser
  • Stable internet connection
  • Sufficient memory (minimum 4GB RAM recommended)
  • macOS users: WebRTC permissions must be configured

Zoom Configuration Requirements

For Zoom compatibility, please ensure one of these configurations:

  • Use Zoom version 6.16 or an earlier release
  • OR activate "Advanced capture with window filtering" in your Zoom preferences

macOS Compatibility Advisory

Certain macOS releases may encounter WebRTC-related complications that impact Interview Code Assist performance. Please verify:

  • System Preferences → Security & Privacy → Screen Recording authorization
  • Confirm your browser version is current
  • Consider alternative browsers if issues persist
