By accessing or using InterviewCodeAssist ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you may only use the Service with parental consent and supervision. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements.

3. Description of Service

InterviewCodeAssist is an AI-powered desktop application that assists users with coding interview preparation through screenshot analysis and solution generation. The Service is intended for educational and practice purposes only.

4. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Uses

4.1 Appropriate Use

  • Use the Service only for legitimate interview preparation and learning purposes
  • Respect the terms of service of any platforms you use alongside our Service
  • Do not use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You shall not:

  • Use the Service to cheat in actual job interviews, assessments, or academic examinations
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Service
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices on the Service
  • Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service
  • Create multiple accounts or share account credentials with others
  • Use the Service to post or transmit infringing, obscene, threatening, or unlawful material
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use the Service in violation of any U.S. export laws or regulations

4.3 Account Security

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account

5. Subscription and Billing

5.1 Payment Terms

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
  • All fees are non-refundable except as outlined in our Refund Policy
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring subscriptions

5.2 Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • No partial refunds for unused time within a billing period

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, content, and materials, is owned by InterviewCodeAssist and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. DMCA Compliance

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe any content on our Service infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA notice to:

You shall not access or use the Services in violation of any U.S. export laws or regulations. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to U.S. embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and you are not on any U.S. prohibited or restricted party lists.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations

11.1 Service Availability

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Maintenance windows may temporarily interrupt service

11.2 No Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11.3 Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL INTERVIEW CODE ASSIST, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless InterviewCodeAssist, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms of Service
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Your use or misuse of the Service
  • Any content you submit to or through the Service

13. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

13.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, we encourage you to contact us to seek resolution. We will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith.

13.2 Binding Arbitration

Any dispute not resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules. Arbitration shall be conducted in Delaware, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

13.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AGREE THAT ALL CLAIMS AND DISPUTES MUST BE ARBITRATED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT ON A CLASS BASIS. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in courts located in Delaware.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us, constitute the entire agreement between you and InterviewCodeAssist regarding the Service.
